Thinking outside and "inside out" of the box

The IPCC report on climate change came in August 2012 and we've had COP26 since then. It's pretty harrowing stuff.

I looked around and got thinking about one quick thing I could do.

Then it struck me that wines arrive into the warehouse in cardboard boxes, then they're taken out of these boxes and put into new boxes. Then, the old ones are chucked in the recycling bin. And it takes an awful lot of the planet's energy to recycle.

What if we were to double their use before they went out to the recycling centre?

Well, now you know. Have a look. So what I learned today was to re-use before we recycle and, where possible, to burn our own human energy, before the planet's.
