A warm, hug-like red that will open your eyes to a better and more refined vision of this wonderful region.
Made from select plots of Tempranillo vines and parcels of old Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this is a simply delicious red that Javier sees as an alternative view to Ribera, offering a slender body, juiciness and a fruit core of blackberry, currants, strawberry and plum, laced with vanilla and nutmeg spices.
This is a beautiful and seriously considered single-estate red from one of the most-loved regions in Spain. Coming from high altitude vines and made by one of the most gentle and kind people in the wine trade, this is a wine to savour and share, but because of the price, it's not too hard to treat yourself either.

His wines are remarkably approachable, soft, complex and rewarding. It's just happy coincidence that he himself is such a great chap!
