Think you know Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc? Think they're all the same? Think again!
This is simply way better than almost any we've had for a very long time. It's from a single vineyard in one of the most highly-regarded subzones in Marlborough, Dillon's Point. If location has ever mattered, it is here that Sauvignon really blossoms and delivers layers of flavour, balanced acidity and a sumptuous texture, leaving a beautifully fruit-filled finish on the palate.
Intense flavours of passion fruit, blackcurrant leaf and lime peel with a full palate weight that is bright, engaging and saline with a really vibrant zesty finish.
Gorgeous.
It's a wine made for Sauvignon Blanc-lovers and it is an absolute must for those who think Sauvignon Blanc is all the same and just a little but rubbish. Because this is brilliant!
Made from a sustainably-grown grapes this vineyard is a veritable showcase of the modern approach to holistic wine culture. Sheep graze between the vines during the winter months, while cover crops, weeds and insects work their natural magic the rest of the year. Set close to the sea and with no churning or tilling of the vineyard at all, it is about as Sylvain as you could imagine.
And the critics like the way it has turned-out...
Bob Campbell MW 93 Points
Rich, flavoursome sauvignon with passionfruit, cut grass, green capsicum and tomato leaf flavours. Weighty, complex wine with good mouth-feel and a lingering finish.
Cam Douglas, Master Sommelier 93 Points
There’s no mistaking the pungency and distinctiveness in the bouquet with an equally distinctive palate loaded with flavours of fresh white fleshed fruits, lemon and grapefruit, pineapple and mango, basil and mineralised stony soil qualities. Crisp, just dry, balanced, fresh and well made. A classic wine style ready to drink from day or purchase through end of summer 2025+.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Single Vineyard Dillon's Point leads with the distinct passionfruit, guava, lychee, green apple and white miso/enoki mushroom character that the subregion is so known for; it's hugely aromatic. In the mouth, the wine follows the path set out by the aromas and is intensely salty, concentrated and vibrant. Totally typical Marlborough Sauv Blanc here but made by an Englishman living in Australia. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
