Ramon Bilbao, Rioja Reserva MAGNUM

€59.99

We have run out of stock for this item.

This benchmark Rioja house goes all-out for their Reservas.

Restrained in texture and softer than their wonderful Crianza, this is powerfully scented and flavoured with dense black fruits, strawberries and lots of perfectly integrated spices. It's very good!

The wine made for this double-bottle is made from a really focused selection of their best vineyard sites before harvest, and the best barrels of fermenting wine after the harvest. This ensures that they have wine that can stand the test of the time required for ageing and which will imbue each bottle with an utterly delicious experience for you and me.

And it's a Magnum.

Ramon Bilbao have been making wines in Rioja since the 1920s, but it is only in the last decade or so that they have really come to international critical prominence, winning awards all over the globe for their extremely high quality wine-making and the wonderful balance in their wines.

It comes in a box, too.

Delicious and interesting range of wines delivered promptly to my door. Not far off that lovely feeling of coming back laden from a good wine store but without any of the traffic or the worry of breaking the wine en route (very impressive travel wrap).
